Vintage Longboards

Makaha Pro IV trucks. This board is in top condition and investment quality, with barely any scratches anywhere, including the tail or nose (see photos). Look at the quality of the logo on the top. You will see that the trucks have minimal rust and the wheels are in great shape and very clean. If you know whether these are original, I would be glad to receive a message. Most of the boards from this era are flat, but you can see that this one has a beautiful early kick tail manufactured by attaching a wedge of wood to the top of the board rather than warping the wood of the deck. Other examples of this board that I’ve seen have a lot of the top logo scratched off or missing and also have a fair amount of scratching around the tail. But you can see that this board is super clean both in the logo and the tail. And the nose and side rails don’t have any significant damage either. The board rolls well and the wheels spin freely. I only wiped the dust off with a damp cloth, because I didn’t want to remove any patina with chemicals or scrubbing. You could probably remove more dirt and get it shinier if you aren’t interested in preserving the patina. There is one small area with sticker residue. It is right next to the measuring tape in the photo where I show you the width of the board. It feels like it is above the surface and might be removed with cleaner, but I did not want to attempt that in the event that it might damage the finish.
