Vintage Longboards

This is a super cool project that one of the best original skaters actually designed himself!! Lance actually drew this and obsessed over it- featured in black (very obscure with the silver) aka as the silver crest version- these came in a lot of colors- black is not seen often. The Crest deck was the first production deck that I drew for Powell-Peralta (had drawn sketches & others decks for production earlier) It was a great learning experience having VCJ walk me through drawing it over a few times until it was ready. Always wanted to see him draw this one but thankful as I learned how to make it work. I remember one thing he said’every line counts & the negative space as well’ I still don’t have the patience to do that but love all the encouragement, opportunity, push & pull to make things the best we can.
