One owner I have owned this skateboard since I was a kid Right now it is retired as a wall display very nice piece of history The only damage is on the tail noted in photos other than that very cool Indian good condition not restored untouched original.

Nice vintage Fibreflex Skateboard by Gordon and Smith, original The Who sticker on the back! Yellow in color, good grip tape, bearings and wheels! Wheels are from Atlantic Skates Ocean City MD. Nice board which still rides well with a cool history. 26′ tall x 6.5′ wide in the middle. Some history about Cathey. Steve went pro in 1976 at the age of 17. Not only was he a talented skateboarder, but also innovative with skateboard equipment, designing and developing our Yo-Yo wheels and the first side cut board, the G&S Sidecut. Over the course of Steve’s skateboarding career with G&S, he had his own model FibreFlex; the Steve Cathey Model. He did demos throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan. He was featured in an interview in Skateboarder and appeared in multiple ads for G&S and Yo-Yo. He has also appeared on T-Shirts, skate park logos, billboards, Vans in-store displays, and multiple surf and skate documentaries. In the 80′s, Steve became the G&S Skate Team manager. He put together a solid team of legends- Billy Ruff, Neil Blender, Chris Miller, Micke Alba, to name a few and he was awarded Team Manager of the Year.

Donated to our church. Looks to be in great shape but has slight crack near the tail (typical for this vintage board). Perfect wall hanger or display deck.
